Originating from the Czech company Prochaska established in 1847, the Astrid fragrance brand emerged. Following multiple license agreements, the brand underwent privatization in 1991, becoming an autonomous entity in 1996, continuing to serve the Czech Republic with its range of products. In 2014, the licensing rights were acquired by the Greek company Sarantis, further expanding the brand's reach.
