Dusita
Premium Fragrance House
When a new perfume brand is born in Paris, blending Asian poetry with the artistry of perfumers, it marks the emergence of a distinguished niche label - "Dusita". The brand's origins can be traced back to the passion of Pissara Umavijani, affectionately known as "Ploi". Growing up in Thailand, she was captivated by the essence of her homeland and the literary treasures found in her parents' library. Inspired by her father's poetry, Pissara delved into the world of fragrance creation. Drawing on the rare and precious essences of her homeland, Pissara garnered the attention of esteemed perfumers worldwide. Relocating to Paris in 2011 to establish her fragrance atelier, she crafted exquisite scents until achieving acclaim with "Dusita" in 2016. The brand's name, "Dusita", was thoughtfully selected, translating to "paradise", "contentment", or "joy" in Buddhist tradition. Pissara aspires to continue her father's poetic legacy by infusing exotic Siamese ingredients like sandalwood, jasmine, and beeswax into her creations. Her fragrances are so distinctive that she has earned recognition as an authority in the realm of perfumery.
