Fueguia 1833
Premium Fragrance House
Founded in 2010 by Julian Bedel, an Argentinean perfumer, botanist, sculptor, and violin maker, the luxury brand "Fueguia 1833" embodies sophistication and sustainability. Bedel's dedication to sustainability is evident in his use of natural, biodegradable ingredients sourced from Argentina, inspired by art forms like music, poetry, and paintings. Through meticulous research on fragrance properties such as volatility and molecular weight, Bedel established the unique fragrance label, drawing the name "Fueguia 1833" from a 19th-century tale of a girl from Tierra del Fuego. The brand's perfumes are a fusion of distinctive South American scents from "Fueguia Botany," the brand's in-house farm, and scientific expertise. Although originally producing medicinal plants, the brand relocated its operations to Milan in 2015, enabling the creation of sustainable furniture and packaging. The minimalist square-shaped bottles without extravagant designs complement the company's ethos, housing captivating scents like "Alhambra," "Basilicum," and "Humboldt." With a collection exceeding 100 fragrances, "Fueguia 1833" showcases its olfactory artistry on its website for all to explore.
